Oh yeah. you heard me right. Apple rings.
some granny smith apples (slice them and fling out the seeds), our Universe Pancake Recipe plus some cinnamon (dip your rings in to the batter adn fling them into a buttered pan) and you've got some delicious little silver dollar size bites of yum! i think these would be really great if you used a 50/50 white to whole what flour ratio in your pancake mix too.
Inspired by this little how to we decided to make these one Saturday Faturday. you can also find this link on my pintrest board for noms. they came out awesome! the apples cook just enough adn i bet these really aren't even that bad for you. although i haven't figured it out caloricly yet cause its saturday faturday and you aren't supposed to worry about the calories. duh.
